About Colin

 
 

Colin Johnston has worked in the field of labour relations for over 25 years and as a labour lawyer for 17 years. Colin has extensive experience working with clients in both the public and private sector in the areas of healthcare, education, municipal services, manufacturing and the service industry. 


Colin has a degree in Labour Studies from McMaster University and studied law at the University of Ottawa. He worked in private practice in Toronto and later in Windsor before joining the Ontario Nurses' Association as a litigator and eventual leader of the litigation department. Colin is a frequent speaker at conferences including Lancaster House, Osgoode Continuing Education and the University of Western Ontario.
